Tonight, the Bristol Blues had traveled to Portsmouth, New Hampshire to take on the Seacoast Mavericks. In this battle, the 6-5 Blues battled out with the 5-6 Mavericks.
UCONN commit and Atlanta Braves Draft pick Liam Scafariello had a homerun on the game along with Davis Strong, St. Mary's sophomore. Blues pitcher Kyle Dube (Fairfield) was able to go seven innings, allow only one earned run, and add nine strike-outs to an impressive stat line to earn the win.
Robert Paccione (LIU Post) finished the game off in the ninth to earn the save with two strike-outs in the one inning of work. Seacoast pitcher Tom Hudson was given the loss after allowing just two runs. The Blues are now 7-5 on the season and are first in the West Division of the FCBL.
