
Blues Fall into Championship Series Hole 2-1

In tonight's first game of the FCBL championship the Bristol Blues were downed by the Worcester Bravehearts by a score of 2-1.
The Blues were led offensively by Ryan Costello (CCSU) who's triple scored Gerrad Rohan (Youngstown) in the seventh inning to cut the deficit to just one run.
Blues starting pitcher Steve Wallace (DeSales) pitched four and a third innings allowing two runs on just four hits. Worcester Bravehearts winning pitcher was Mark Bruemmel.
The Blues are back in action tomorrow, August 15, when they host the second game of the series at Muzzy Field. If the Blues were to win tomorrow's game then they would then host the Bravehearts for Game 3 at Muzzy on Sunday, August 16, at 6pm.
