Dube Pitches Blues into FCBL Title Series

The Bristol Blues are on their way to the FCBL championship. Tonight the Blues beat the Nashua Silver Knights by a score of 7-0 in large part to a masterful pitching performance by Southington, Conn. native Kyle Dube (Fairfield). Dube was able to go seven innings, allowing no runs on seven hits.

Dube recieved offensive help from first basemen Gerrad Rohan (Youngstown) who went two for four with an RBI in the win.

Silver Knights losing pitcher was named as Ryan Moloney.

With the win, the Blues head into a best of three series with the Worcester Bravehearts. Tomorrow's game, August 15, will be in Worcester with the Blues hosting the last two games at historic Muzzy Field on Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrow's first pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
