(Central Islip, N.Y., June 11, 2010) - The Long Island Ducks will be celebrating Father's Day in style on June 20th when they host the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at 1:35. An afternoon at the Duck Pond is the perfect way to treat your Dad to a fun-filled day. The Duck Club Restaurant staff is taking reservations NOW for both lunch and dinner at the brand new team restaurant at 631-940-DUCK, ext. 152.
"Where else would you want to celebrate Father's Day?" says Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff. "We're happy to offer this unique experience for families to enjoy with their fathers."
The Duck Club Restaurant, normally reserved for season ticket and luxury suite holders, offers an outstanding menu featuring a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages at affordable prices and will be open for lunch and dinner to all at the ballpark. Fans will be able to wine and dine with their dads and enjoy an exciting game of Ducks baseball as well. To make reservations for Father's Day, call Emily Moss at 631-940-DUCK, ext. 152. The Ducks have several other great promotions lined up as well during the game. Fathers in attendance will have a chance to win exciting prizes from Plessers Appliances and Electronics. In addition, the Ducks will also be holding Autographs and Kids Run the Bases Sundays, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Fans will be invited down to the field prior to the game to meet the 2010 Long Island Ducks and again after the game to run the bases on Suffolk County Sports Park's pristine playing surface. It will be a Father's Day celebration that no fan should miss!
