
Brian McCann To Rehab In Rome Tuesday

Rome, GA - Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann is scheduled to serve a Major League Rehabilitation stint Tuesday and Wednesday as Rome entertains the Augusta GreenJackets. McCann was placed on the disabled list May 24th with a sprained left ankle.
Brian McCann played in Rome during the inaugural 2003 South Atlantic League Championship season and hit .290 with 12 home runs and 71 RBI. "We are excited to have Brian in Rome despite these circumstances. I hope this rehab will prepare him to return to Atlanta and contribute to the major league club," says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn.
