
Gnats team up with Second Harvest to fight hunger

SAVANNAH, GA - June is Hunger Awareness Month and the Savannah Sand Gnats and Second Harvest have teamed up to have Thanksgiving in June. Fans can bring canned goods to any game in June and receive free admission to that evening's game.
America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia provides food for hungry people and improves communities in the 21 coastal Georgia counties which it serves. In 2005, Second Harvest distributed over 4 million pounds of food, feeding over 90,000 people, including 52,916 children.
