The North American Hockey League announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Easton. Making the list for the Aberdeen Wings were two honorable mentions for play over the weekend as they hosted the Wenatchee Wild.
#16 Kyle Haak (F-Okemos, MI) has been on fire lately for the Aberdeen Wings and over the weekend as he scored 3 of the Wings' 5 goals. In Friday night's 4-2 loss to Wenatchee, Haak scored both goals in the 2nd period. At the 10:16 mark he would score with an assist from #24 Jonathan Grebosky (F-Pittsburgh, PA) and again at the 15:02 mark a goal with assists from #7 Matt Brettingen and #11 TJ Roo (F-Coon Rapids, MN). Currently, Haak has scored 10Ãâàgoals and 7 assists in 28 games.
Wings defenseman #7 Matt Brettingen (D-St. Cloud, MN) was honored for his play in both games. Friday night, he offered an assist to a goal by Wings forward #16 Kyle Haak. Over the weekend, Brettingen was a +1 on the ice.
The Aberdeen Wings are back in action this Friday against rival Bismarck Bobcats for another installment of the Titan Cup presented by Titan Machinery. Saturday, the Wings will be at Bismarck.
