
Warriors clipped by Eagles 4-2 to open 3-game home-stand

The Michigan Warriors returned home to Perani Arena for the first time in 13 days to play host to the Soo Eagles.
Michigan got goals from Collin Larkin (9) and Tyler Groat (8) in the contest but fell to the Eagles 4-2.
The Eagles got 2-goals from Scott Cuthrell (5,6) including an empty netter with :40 remaining to seal the victory. The other scorers for the Soo were Trevor Boyd (2) and Dante Suffredini (1).
Landon Trutt made his first start in net for the Eagles, picked-up the Win, made 27 saves on the night, while Trevor Gorsuch stopped 25 Eagles shots in a losing effort for the Warriors.
The Michigan Warriors play host to the Johnstown Tomahawks for 2-games on Friday and Saturday night at Perani Arena and Events Center, to close-out the 2013 portion of the home schedule, with a 7 PM face-off both nights.
