Warriors Ryan Wischow Commits to D1 St. Lawrence University

The Michigan Warriors are proud to announce that their starting goalie from Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin has made a college commitment to continue his hockey career! Ryan Wischow has officially committed to St. Lawrence University for the 2016-2017 season. The St Lawrence Saints play in the ECAC Conference and have been in the NCAA Hockey Tournament 16 times. Wischow has been great in his first year with the Warriors putting up 7 wins, 3 shutouts, 2.34 Goals Against Average, and a .931 Save Percentage. With his great play this season he earned a call up to the USHL with the Chicago Steel for most of December.

When talking to Ryan about his commitment he said " St. Lawrence was the best fit for me because of the interested they showed in me and the academics the school has. Academics is something very important to my family and I. The Saints play in the ECAC, which is the best conference in the Division 1. They have the two past NCAA National Champions in Union and Yale in their conference. The coaching staff is great and the team plays a very defensive style. Thank you to the fans and everyone in the Warriors organization for their support. Thank you to Head Coach Moe Mantha for being so honest, fair, and for pushing me to where I am today " .

When asked about Ryan ' s commitment Head Coach Moe Mantha said " I'm excited that he has committed to St. Lawrence University. He came in at the beginning of the season with one thing in mind and that was to work on his game on the ice as well as off the ice. I am glad to see that he is being rewarded for his efforts " .

Michigan Warriors are also proud to announce that Cody Kuster has made a college commitment to continue his hockey career! Cody Kuster has officially committed to Lawrence University for the 2015-2016 season. The Lawrence Vikings are a D3 college that plays out of the NCHA. Kuster has been a big part of the Warriors the past two seasons scoring 14 goals and 12 assists.

When talking to Cody about his commitment he said " Lawrence was a perfect fit for me, they have a great coaching staff and medical program. I would like to thank Moe Mantha, the fans, past coaches, my family, and my friends for all of their support " .

When asked about Cody ' s commitment Head Coach Moe Mantha said " Cody has been with our program for the past two years and everyday he tries to be the best he can be. He is a honest player, and I'm excited for him. "
