THE SERIES: It's just the third and fourth meetings of the season between the Wichita Falls Wildcats and the Amarillo Bulls. The two clubs haven't met since the first weekend in October at Wichita Falls where the Bulls swept both games. The two clubs will see one another again in the middle of January back at Kay Yeager Coliseum.

HOME SWEET HOME: It's the beginning of a big home stand for the Amarillo Bulls that begins this weekend prior to Christmas and keeps rolling through the New Years' Eve holiday. The Bulls will be home for the next four weeks playing four different opponents, Wichita Falls Wildcats, Lone Star Brahmas, Corpus Christi IceRays and Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.

In 10 previous home games, the Bulls have posted a mark of 9-1-0 with the lone defeat at the hands of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in late November. In those home victories the Bulls have outscored the opposition 37-9 and there have been five shutouts.

WHAT IS AT STAKE: There is plenty at stake this weekend in the South Division for both teams. The Bulls and the Wildcats come in tied for first place with 41 points, but the Topeka RoadRunners and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees are just two points back. The Killer Bees travel to Corpus Christi for one game before heading out on their Christmas Break. The RoadRunners don't play again until after Christmas.

ALUMNI UPDATE: There is just one Division I game on the calendar that is set for Friday as Army (Garrett Peterson, Joe Kozlak, Luke Jenkins, Clint Carlisle, and Kyle Plageman) entertains Providence College (Brooks Behling). There is no Division III action this weekend as they are enjoying an early Christmas Break.
