Bulls Auction to Benefit Panhandle Angels

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls will host the North American Hockey League's South Division leading Lone Star Brahmas on Friday and Saturday this weekend. The Bulls have been on a hot streak, going into the weekend matchup with points in five straight games.

This weekend is not only big for the Bulls but also for the Panhandle Angels Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support for families in the Panhandle of Texas and Oklahoma who are fighting childhood cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders.

The weekend will feature a commemorative Bulls jersey auction featuring game-worn jerseys by Amarillo Bulls players in their game on Saturday. The one-of-a-kind jersey worn on Saturday is a black jersey featuring a pink Bulls logo with the players' name on the back and angel wings on the back numbers. This auction is being done in partnership with DASH, the number one auction app for fans. The auction is currently open and will close on Jan.11th at 7 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to Panhandle Angels to help provide families groceries, car payments, medical payments and so much more.

Amarillo goes into the weekend sitting in fourth place in the NAHL South Division, fresh off a two-game sweep of the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Bulls goalie Cal Sandquist holds the league's sixth best Goals Against Average and a 6-2-2 record for the Bulls.

Due to city-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, until further notice fans are not permitted inside the Civic Center for Bulls home games.
