
Braves Add Ward to Roster

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves have added right-handed pitcher Josh Ward to the roster. Ward joins the Rome club from Danville of the Appalachian League where he was 1-3 with a 4.70 ERA along with 9 walks and 19 strikeouts in 14 appearances. He hails from Donalsonville, GA and becomes the fourth Georgia native currently on the Rome roster.
Rome is in Columbus for game three of their four game series against the Catfish. They return to action at State Mutual Stadium September 1-4 for Fan Appreciation Weekend with special stadium activities and prize giveaways.
Friday - Rome vs. Savannah 7pm
Saturday - Rome vs. Savannah 7pm with post game fireworks
Sunday - Rome vs. Savannah 2pm
Monday - Labor Day, Rome vs. Savannah 1pm
