EVERETT, Wash. - Brandon Miller was honored as the Northwest League Pitcher of the Week for the period of August 22-28.
Miller's one start for the period came on August 24 against the Eugene Emeralds. He earned a win, tossing five perfect innings while striking out five batters in a playoff atmosphere in Eugene.
Brandon Miller was one of five AquaSox selected to represent the Northwest League in Ogden, Utah at the 2016 All-Star game. He was selected as the starting pitcher for the NWL, pitching a scoreless first inning in a 11-5 Northwest League win.

Brandon Miller is 21 years old from Ephrata, PA. Miller was selected in the 6th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners out of Millersville University in Pennsylvania.
The AquaSox have now had six NWL Players of the Week. The other AquaSox to receive the award were Elliot Surrey, Kyle Lewis, Nick Zammarelli and Ljay Newsome twice.
