Final Two Games Canceled in Vancouver
September 2, 2016 - Northwest League (NWL1)
Salem-Keizer Volcanoes News Release
VANCOUVER, B.C. - The final two games in the series between the Volcanoes and Vancouver Canadians have been canceled and will not be rescheduled, due to poor field conditions at Nat Bailey Stadium. Thursday's game was suspended due to rain and scheduled to be resumed as part of a doubleheader on Friday, but the weather did not allow the doubleheader to continue as scheduled. With the games not holding any playoff implications, they have been canceled rather than postponed.
Salem-Keizer returns home for the final three games of the season, with the Volcanoes hosting Boise at Volcanoes Stadium. The three-game series begins on Saturday, September 3 at 6:35 p.m. For a list of promotions in the final three-game series of the season, visit www.volcanoesbaseball.com/promos.
