Bradenton, FL - The Marauders (26-29) dealt the Fort Myers Miracle (25-30) a 6-2 defeat at McKechnie Field on Friday night. Bradenton pounced on Miracle ace Chih-Wei Hu (L, 4-1) for six runs on nine hits.
RF Harold Ramirez crushed an 0-2 pitch for a three-run home run in the first inning.
LHP Jayson Aquino (W, 3-5) earned his first win since being traded to the Pirates organization by tossing six innings without allowing an earned run. Aquino whiffed five and walked two. He surrendered four hits and worked around a pair of errors that led to Miracle runs.
NOTES: The game began at 6:36 p.m. under cloudy skies, 87 degrees, and wind blowing 14 mph from left to right ... The Marauders dealt Hu, who has a AAA win this year, his first loss of the season at any level ... The Marauders have won three straight for the first time since 5/8-5/11 ...
