
Yankees RHP Ivan Nova to Make Rehab Start Monday

TAMPA, Fla. - Ivan Nova is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with the Tampa Yankees on Monday, June 8th at George M. Steinbrenner Field according to Yankees GM Brian Cashman.
Nova played for the Tampa Yankees in 2008 striking outs 109 batters over 148.2 innings. The righty has pitched 537.2 innings in the Majors over five years. 20.2 of those innings were at the start of the 2014 season before he went on the DL and had Tommy John Surgery.
The T-Yanks start up a four-game series Monday against the Jupiter Hammerheads (Marlins Affiliate) with the first pitch scheduled for 7:00pm and gates opening at 6:00pm.
Military Monday's with the Tampa Yankees offer free admission for all military personnel. Fans can take advantage of half price burgers & chicken tender baskets from 6:00-8:00pm. Tickets start at $4.00 and parking is free.
