BOWIE, MD - Bowie catcher Guillermo Rodriguez and first baseman Eric Crozier homered in consecutive innings to break a 2-2 tie and give the Baysox (AA-Baltimore Orioles) a 4-2 win over the Curve in game three of a four game series Sunday night at Prince George's Stadium.

The game went back and forth early on with both teams scoring runs in their first two innings at the plate. The Curve scored on an RBI double by Jason Delaney and a solo home run by catcher Steve Lerud, his third of the season.

Rodriguez then broke the 2-2 tie with a solo shot in the sixth and Crozier followed up with a solo blast of his own in the seventh. Crozier finished the night 2-for-3 with the homer, a triple, and two RBIs.

Delaney added to his team lead in RBIs when he drove home Brian Friday on a double, the RBI gives Delaney 40 on the year. Jose Tabata extended his hitting streak to eight games after a 2-for-5 performance and Ray Chang continued his impressive Curve season going 2-for-4 which gives him hits in each of the five games he has played in since joining Altoona July 4th.

Jeff Sues (2-6) picks up the loss for Altoona after tossing 4.0 innings in relief of starter Tyler Herron. Sues allowed two runs on three hits with three strikeouts in his longest outing of the season.

Altoona (33-57) and Bowie conclude their four game series Monday night at Prince George's Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with radio coverage starting at 6:50 p.m. on ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network. Monday's probable starters are southpaw Kyle Bloom (2-4, 3.35) for the Curve and right hander Tim Bascom (2-2, 3.75) for the Baysox (50-40).
