BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a pair of roster moves today. LHP Pedro Viola was transferred to Bowie from the Baltimore Orioles, and OF Kyle Hudson was transferred to class Triple-A Norfolk. With the moves, the Baysox have 24 active players on their 24-man roster.
Viola appeared in four games with the Orioles, going 0-0 with a 9.82 ERA over 3.2 innings pitched. In 24 games with Bowie this season, Viola is 3-1 with two saves and a 2.25 ERA over 28.0 innings of work.
Hudson hit .308 in 28 games for Bowie this season with three doubles, one triple and seven stolen bases in nine attempts. He also appeared in 24 games for the Norfolk Tides this season, batting .118 with four stolen bases in four attempts.
