New York Boulders News Release
The Rockland Boulders dismantled the Dominican Republic National Team 15-1, completing the three-game sweep to wrap up the homestand. The Boulders managed to bat around in the bottom of the first inning, plating six runs, which was far more than enough to handle the DR. The Boulders also managed to score in 6 of the 8 innings they hit (no bottom 9th) throughout the afternoon. Starting pitcher Frank Moscatiello delivered five innings of one-run ball for Rockland to ensure that lead wouldn't be remotely threatened.
The Boulders will be off on Monday and will play a three-game series with the New Jersey Jackals beginning on Tuesday.
