Bordson Returns to Titans; Mallaro Released

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans announced the return of left wing Rob Bordson from the AHL Rochester Americans and the release of defenseman Stephen Mallaro.

Bordson, 23, and a native of Duluth, Minn., returns after playing in eight games for Rochester and not registering a point. In 17 games with the Titans, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Bordson amassed 21 points (9 goals, 12 assists). His six-game goal-scoring streak - from Nov. 20-Dec. 3 - is the longest in the ECHL this season.

Mallaro, 24 and a native of Syracuse, N.Y., joined the Titans Dec. 1 and appeared in 10 games, not registering a point. He also appeared in four games with the Elmira Jackals earlier this season.

The Titans play in Toledo Friday and Kalamazoo Saturday before returning home to face the South Carolina Stingrays Jan. 13 and Reading Royals Jan. 14.
