FORT MILL, S.C. - In his first at-bat of the Charlotte Knights-Toledo Mud Hens game Tuesday night, Joe Borchard knocked a two-RBI single up the middle for his 423rd career hit in Charlotte pinstripes, overtaking Jesus Alfaro (Charlotte O's, 1982-84) to become the franchise's all-time hits leader.
