
Booyah Set to Host Mallards

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Green Bay Booyah are back at Capital Credit Union Park as they welcome the Madison Mallards to Ashwaubenon for the first time this season.
Last night, the Booyah fell to the division leading Wisconsin Woodchucks, 7-4. The game fell apart for the Booyah in the seventh inning when the Woodchucks drove in three in the half to break the tie in what sealed the rival's win. Johnny Hipsman (Richmond) had two runs batted in in the contest. Kaden Hollow (Dixie State) and Tristin Garcia (Western Kentucky) had an RBI each, as well.
With the loss, the Booyah fall to 0-6 on the campaign against the division leaders.
Turning the page to Wednesday, the Booyah are in the middle game of this three-game home stand as the Mallards make their way from the state capitol for the first time this season. The Mallards have claimed victory in two of their three meetings this year.
The Booyah will give the ball to Tanner Lane on Wednesday. He will be making his second start of the season and is 0-1 on the season. The Missouri native has pitched 10.1 innings, allowing five hits, two runs, six walks while striking out 15. His ERA is a third-lowest 1.74 on the team.
The Mallards will start Eliot Turnquist. He went up against the Booyah on June 24 when he pitched five innings, allowing five hits, four runs, two earned runs, three walks and struck out five. He picked up his first win of the season that day.
