Schaumburg Boomers News Release
LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Schaumburg Boomers were rained out at Rockford on Sunday evening in a scheduled contest with the RiverHawks. Rain throughout the day forced the postponement of the contest. The rain out is the second of the season for the Boomers.
With a mutual off-day on Monday and the Boomers in the middle of the playoff chase with several other Frontier League clubs, the teams will meet at 6:05 p.m. for a scheduled nine-inning game Monday night despite the fact that Sunday was the final scheduled meeting of the year between the two teams. The pitching matchup will feature LHP Cameron Roth (8-8, 3.38) on the hill for the Boomers opposite RHP Cody Hallahan (5-8, 4.40).
