
Bonnell Promoted to New Jersey

New Jersey Cardinals News Release
Pitcher Jared Bonnell was called up from Johnson City to the New Jersey Cardinals. He made his first appearance with the Cardinals on August 10th at Tri-City. Bonnell picked up the win that game pitching 2 hitless innings while striking out three. He pitched again the following night at Tri-City allowing one hit in one inning pitched.
While at Johnson City, Bonnell pitched 4.1 innings allowing five hits and three earned runs. He walked three and had three strikeouts at Johnson City.
New Jersey begins its longest homestand of the season tonight at 7:15 p.m. against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. It will be the first of eight straight home games for the Cardinals.
