
Bombers, Rogers invite fans to choose player of the game

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Rogers Wireless are teaming-up to give football fans a chance to vote for the Bomber Player of the Game at every Bomber home game this season.
Beginning with the team's June 30 game versus the Edmonton Eskimos, Bomber fans will be able to use their Rogers Wireless handset to vote for the Bomber of the Game by sending a text message. At the end of every home game, the Bomber of the Game as chosen by the fans will be announced.
Fans who vote will automatically be entered for a chance to be one of three finalists to compete for $75,000 on Oct. 30 at Canad Inns Stadium.
Fans who cannot vote for the Bomber of the Game can visit any participating Rogers Wireless location and fill out a ballot for a chance at the cash.
Rogers Wireless is a proud sponsor of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the team's official wireless provider in this it's 75th anniversary season.
Rogers is also marking a milestone this year. The company is celebrating it's 20th anniversary. The first cellular call was placed July 1, 1985.
