
Bombers end home season with sweep and 11-5 win over Green Bay

Battle Creek, Mich. - The Battle Creek Bombers (12-16) cranked out a season high 17 hits against the Green Bay Bullfrogs (9-18) on Saturday night as they completed a two-game sweep by winning 11-5.
Cam Gibson and Matthew Fears each recorded three hits in their final game as members of the Bombers this season. Todd Eaton (W, 5-5) earned his fourth win in two weeks after relieving Ryan Lavoie who allowed three runs in four innings of work.
Eaton was aided in the fifth inning with tons of insurance. Tyler Moore hit a two-run home run off Bullfrogs' starter Ben Graff (L, 0-5). Two batters later, Matthew Goodson clocked his fourth home run of the season, all part of a six-run fifth inning.
Jared Foster and Gabe Acevedo also chipped in with three hits each.
The Bombers will begin an eight game road trip to end the season on Sunday night in Eau Claire. Kenton San Miguel will get his first start of the season for the Bombers.
