
Bombers Drop 2-1 Decision In Toledo

Toledo, OH â The Dayton Bombers dropped a 2-1 decision to the Toledo Storm in front of 2,795 at the Toledo Sports Arena Sunday afternoon.
There was no scoring in the first two periods, and the Bombers were outshot 21-13 in the opening 40 minutes. The game's first goal was scored by Toledo's Todd Jackson at the 8:55 mark of period three. The Bombers tied the game, 1-1, when SCOTT CAMERON beat Storm goaltender Scott Fankhouser with a high-rising shot at 12:50. The game-winning goal was scored by Steve Slonina with 3:54 remaining in regulation.
The Bombers return to action Friday night when they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:00 PM. The "Coaches Corner Pre-Game Show" starts at 6:50 PM on SportsOne, WONE-AM 980 and at daytonbombers.com.
