Bombers Come Back From Three Down To Win At Wheeling 6-3

WHEELING, W. VA. -- The Dayton Bombers spotted the Nailers three goals early but came back for a 6-3 win at WesBanco Arena Friday night.

The Nailers had goals by Nick Johnson (his eleventh), Mitch Ganzak (PP) and Bryan Ewing (PP) by the 13:24 mark of the first. But rookie Nino Musitelli from Miami University got Dayton on the board at 19:38 with assists to Jamie Dowhayko and Mike McLean to make it 3-1 after one.

The Bombers scored two in the second by Les Reaney (in his first game for the Bombers from Dan Riedel and Nathan Schwartzbauer at 12:19 and Dominic D'Amour (at 13:34 from McLean and Justin Bowers) to tie it after two.

In the third, the Bombers took their first lead at 1:51 on the goal from Justin Bowers (from Musitelli and Dowhayko) before Jarret Lukin scores ther final two (at 5:39 from Reaney and Riedel and an empty-netter from Reaney at 19:26 to salt it away.

The Bombers are home at Troy's Hobart Arena tomorrow night at 7:30 against Johnstown (when they'll wear throwback Troy Bruins uniforms) and Sunday at 5:00, also against the Chiefs.
