Trenton Devils (2-7-1) at Johnstown Chiefs (8-3-0) 7:05 p.m. ET
- Devils won 5-2 on Oct. 30 to improve to 47-29-7 all-time against Johnstown.
- Johnstown's Kris Mayotte is 4-0-0 with a shootout win and goals-against average of 2.45.
- Trenton's Brett Pilkington has a five-game assist streak (6a) and a five-game point streak (6a).
- Chiefs' rookie Andrew Sarauer had career highs with four assists and six points on Wednesday against Cincinnati.

Augusta Lynx (5-4-1) at Florida Everblades (6-2-1) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Everblades have won the last three meetings to improve to 51-16-6 all-time against Augusta.
- Lynx's Patrick Bordeleau has three points (1g-2a) in his last three games.
- Florida's Anton Khudobin is 4-0-0 with a shutout and a goals-against average of 1.50 in his last four games.
- Augusta is 1-0-0 when it scores first and 3-0-1 in one-goal games.

Cincinnati Cyclones (4-4-3) at Elmira Jackals (6-4-1) 7:35 p.m. ET
- Cyclones won 3-1 at Cincinnati on Nov. 8 to improve to 8-2-2 all-time against Elmira.
- Elmira's Josh Aspenlind has a three-game point streak (1g-2a).
- Cincinnati's Olivier Latendresse has a two-game goal streak (2g) and a four-game point streak (5g-1a).
- Jackals are tied for fifth in the ECHL on the penalty kill with 85.9 percent (55-for-64).

Dayton Bombers (6-2-1) at Wheeling Nailers (6-0-4) 7:35 p.m. ET
- Nailers have won last four meetings, including 6-1 at home on Oct. 31, and are 82-52-9 all-time against Dayton.
- Dayton rookie Justin Bowers has a three-game assist streak (5a) and a five-game point streak (2g-7a).
- Wheeling's Rob Sirianni has a 10-game point streak (8g-10a), the longest scoring streak in the ECHL this season.
- Bombers defenseman Greg Labenski has a two-game goal streak (2g) and a three-game point streak (2g-1a).

Charlotte Checkers (5-5-1) at Gwinnett Gladiators (2-4-2) 7:35 p.m. ET
- Checkers won 4-3 in a shootout on Oct. 28 to improve to 5-4-1 in their last 10 games at Gwinnett.
- Brad Schell leads the Gladiators with six assists and eight points in eight games.
- Mike Bayrack leads Charlotte with eight assists and is tied for the team lead with nine points in 10 games.
- Bruce Graham leads Gwinnett with four goals and is tied for the team lead with two power-play goals.

Bakersfield Condors (3-6-1) at Ontario Reign (6-4-1) 7 p.m. PT
- Reign are fourth in the ECHL on the power play with 22.1 percent (17-for-77).
- Mark Derlago leads the Condors against Ontario with three goals and four points in two games.
- Ontario's last four games have been decided by one goal (2-1-1) including two shootouts (1-1).
- Bakersfield rookies Matt Caruana and Matt Pope are tied for the team lead with six goals each.

Phoenix RoadRunners (6-3-2) at Victoria Salmon Kings (5-6-1) 7:05 p.m. PT
- Salmon Kings have won the last six games at Victoria to improve to 6-0-2 at home against Phoenix.
- RoadRunners are 4-1-0 in the last five meetings and 13-6-4 overall against Victoria.
- Olivier Labelle leads Victoria with eight goals and 12 points in 12 games.
- Kimbi Daniels leads the RoadRunners against Victoria with five points (2g-3a).

Idaho Steelheads (5-5-2) at Las Vegas Wranglers (4-5-1) 7:30 p.m. PT
- Wranglers are 13-5-4 at home and 22-12-10 overall in the regular season against Idaho.
- Steelheads are 4-4-1 in their last nine games at Las Vegas and 22-15-7 all-time against the Wranglers.
- Las Vegas' John DeCaro is 2-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.51 in his last two starts.
- Idaho's Steve Gainey has a two-game goal streak (2g) and a two-game point streak (2g-1a).

Stockton Thunder (4-5-1) at Fresno Falcons (7-3-1) 7:35 p.m. PT
- Falcons are 12-1-0 at home and 22-6-1 overall against Stockton in the regular season.
- Thunder rookie Andrew Perugini is 2-0-1 with a goals-against average of 2.21 in his first three starts.
- Fresno's Kenny MacAulay is tied for second among league defensemen with 10 points (3g-7a).
- Stockton is sixth in the league on the penalty kill with 85.9 percent (55-for-64).

Utah Grizzlies (6-3-0) at Alaska Aces (7-2-1) 7:15 p.m. AT
- Aces are 11-2-1 at home and 18-8-3 all-time in the regular season against Utah.
- Grizzlies are 4-2-0 in their last six games against Alaska.
- Alaska's Josh Soares has a seven-game goal streak (10g) which is the longest goal streak in the ECHL this season.
- Utah's James Sanford leads ECHL defensemen with 11 points and is tied for the league lead with eight assists.

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 23 teams playing 828 games in 16 states and British Columbia in 2008-09.
- The Reading Royals, the City of Reading and the Sovereign Center will host the 17th Annual ECHL All-Star Game on Jan. 21, 2009 and the 12th Annual All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 20, 2009.
- The league officially changed its name from East Coast Hockey League to ECHL on May 19, 2003.

- Former ECHL coaches working as head coaches in the NHL are Bruce Boudreau of the Washington Capitals, Scott Gordon of the New York Islanders and Peter Laviolette of the Carolina Hurricanes. Boudreau, who coached Mississippi for three seasons winning the Kelly Cup championship in 1999, was named NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach to receive the award. Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 18 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL officiating team in 2008-09 with referees David Banfield, Chris Ciamaga, Ghislain Hebert, Marc Joannette, Mike Leggo, Wes McCauley, Dean Morton, Dan O'Rourke, Brian Pochmara, Kevin Pollock, Kyle Rehman, Chris Rooney, Justin St. Pierre and Ian Walsh and linesmen Steve Barton, Brian Mach, Tim Nowak and Jay Sharrers. Barton, Joannette, Leggo, McCauley, Nowak, Pollock, Rooney and Sharrers all worked the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- ECHL has affiliations with 25 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 19 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.
- In the last six seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
