SAUGET, IL - Riley Krane gave the ThunderBolts a lead with a two-run home run in the sixth inning and the Bolts held on the rest of the way for a 4-1 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies at GCS Credit Union Ballpark Monday night.

Gateway (19-29) got on the scoreboard first with a run I the second inning. Back-to-back walks were followed by a Paul Russo RBI single.

Connor Bach settled in after the second and finished the game with a career-high nine strikeouts while keeping the ThunderBolts alive by not allowing any more runs.
