PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Alec Bohm extended his hitting streak to eight games, but the Clearwater Threshers fell to the Charlotte Stone Crabs, 7-0, on Tuesday night at Charlotte Sports Park. The loss snaps the Threshers' win streak at four games, and drops the Philadelphia Phillies affiliate 4.5 games back of first in the Florida State League North.

Bohm started the sixth inning with a single, and advanced to second on Nick Maton's single to right. After Madison Stokes bounced into a fielder's choice to put men on the corners, Matt Kroon hit into a double play to end the inning.

Clearwater (26-25) finished the night 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position, and left men at third in the third, fourth and sixth frames.

Kroon and Rodolfo Duran collected extra-base hits for the visitors, giving the Threshers at least one extra-base hit in all 26 games in May.
