Bob Uecker Jerseys Return This Weekend

Milwaukee, WI--In what can only be seen as a poor attempt at fashion, the Milwaukee Admirals will wear plaid jerseys this weekend similar to the ones that were made popular in the Bob Uecker television commercials in the mid-90's.
During the two games the Admirals will hold a blind, silent auction for the sweaters with all of the proceeds being donated to the Milwaukee Admirals Power Play Foundation. All of the players who are currently on the Admirals roster will have their jerseys auctioned off and there will also be one Bob Uecker Jersey that will be signed by Bob himself.
In addition to the Uecker jerseys, there is quite a bit going on at the BC this weekend. On Friday night when the Ads take on the Manitoba Moose at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center, the first 5,000 fans will receive a set of CheerStix courtesy of Patrick Cudahy. In addition, a pair of Admirals players will sign autographs in the Aurora Sports Medicine Institute Autograph Corner after the game.
On Saturday afternoon the Admirals will take on the Peoria Rivermen in a 1:30 pm matinee. The first 2,500 fans 14 and under will get an Admirals Puzzle from TEK Systems. Saturday is also a Scout Day where scout groups receive substantial discounts off the face value of the tickets.
