Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights got two goals from Dave Moss and a goal and an assist from Justin Taylor to beat the San Antonio Rampage 4-2 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Knights have now won four straight games, their second longest win streak of the season.

Moss opened the scoring during a five-on-three powerplay. He tapped in a feed from Craig MacDonald at 5:29 for his twelfth goal of the year.

Moss scored again during a five-on-four advantage. Eric Nystrom set up Richie Regehr for a one-timer from the left point. Moss poked in the rebound to make it 2-0.

The Rampage cut into the lead on a powerplay late in the second period. Just six seconds into a holding minor to Regehr, Jeff Taffe tipped in a shot by Pavel Brendl to narrow the Knights' lead to 2-1.

The Knights wasted little time getting the goal back. Taylor set up behind the Rampage net, faked out goalie David LeNeveu and slipped the puck in front to Derek Couture who rammed home his fifth goal of the season. That put the Knights up 3-1 after two.

Taylor wasn't done on offense. Early in the third period, he slipped in the rebound of a shot by Zenith Komarniski with just one second remaining on a powerplay to make it 4-1.

Eric Chouinard scored the game's final goal, converting a feed from Jeff Taffe three minutes after Taylor's goal.

Goaltender Brent Krahn left the game following the Knights' fourth goal, but he still earned the win, stopping 13 of the 14 shots he faced. Curtis McElhinney allowed Chouinard's goal.

The Knights are now 22-23-2-7. They now embark on their longest road trip of the season, a five-game nine-day jaunt that will take them to Hamilton, Manchester, Rochester and Toronto. The first game of the string is Saturday night when they take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Central time. All the action can be heard on 1420 AM KOTK and on the internet at omahaaksarbenknights.com. The game also can be seen on-line by clicking on the link to B2 Networks on the Knights' home page.
