In last night's bout between the two Connecticut rivals of the FCBL, the Blues edged the Titans 3-1 and raised their record on the season to 30-21.
The Blues were led offensively by Ryan Costello (CCSU), Willy Yahn (UCONN), and Ryan Rinsky (Ramopo) who all had RBI's in the win.
Blues starting pitcher Dominic LoBrutto (Florida International) was able to go six innings, allowing just one run to get the win. Rob Paccione (LIU Post) earned his eleventh on the season. Titan's pitcher Frank Valentino was given the loss.
The Blues are back in action today, August 6, to play a doubleheader in Pittsfield starting at 6pm.
