The Bristol Blues (30-21) beat the Torrington Titans (23-25) 3-1 on Wednesday at Fuessenich Park behind Dylan Morris, who went 1-4.
He doubled in the fifth inning.
The Torrington Titans had no answer for Dominic LoBrutto, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Torrington Titans managed just three hits off of the the Bristol Blues' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Frank Valentino (4-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.
