Sean Webster had two extra base hits, helping the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (18-26) to a 6-2 victory over the Torrington Titans (17-26) on Tuesday at Fuessenich Park.
He tripled in the fourth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
The Torrington Titans' lineup had no answer for Brock Riley. Riley held the Torrington Titans hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Cory Giguere recorded his first win of the year for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed two runs over five innings. Giguere struck out eight, walked one and gave up two hits.
Chris Enns couldn't get it done on the hill for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs were sparked by Webster and Ryne Ogren, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
