
Blues Recall Andrew Murray

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled forward Andrew Murray under emergency conditions from their American Hockey League affiliate, Peoria Rivermen.
Murray, 31, has played in 38 games with Peoria this season, tallying 19 points (10 goals and 9 assists). Overall, the 6-foot-2, 218-pound forward has appeared in five NHL seasons (2007-2012), totaling 40 points (24 goals, 16 assists) and 36 penalty minutes in 220 games between San Jose and Columbus.
The Selkirk, Manitoba native was originally drafted by Columbus in the eighth round, (242nd overall) at the 2001 NHL Draft. Murray was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 6, 2012.
