Rockford IceHogs News Release
Rockford, Ill.- After a hot end to the month of February, the Rockford IceHogs hope to carry the momentum over to March beginning with a pair of home games this weekend at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
On Friday night, the IceHogs host the Peoria Rivermen in an Illinois lottery Cup matchup at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,500 fans to the game will pick up a "Hog Nation" glow in the dark T-shirt courtesy of Toyota. Rockford is just three points behind Peoria and four behind the Chicago Wolves in the Illinois Lottery Cup standings.
Then on Saturday, the first 1,500 fans to the game will pick up an IceHogs Sock Monkey sponsored by BMO Harris Bank when the Milwaukee Admirals visit at 7:05 p.m. BMO Harris Bank is also hosting a sock drive as every fan that brings a new pair of kid's socks to the BMO this weekend will receive a voucher good for a buy-one get-one free IceHogs ticket at select remaining home games.
All the socks will be donated to Project Undershare and the initiative is also sponsored by the United Way of the Rock River Valley. Donation bins will be located at both entrances of the arena and socks can be dropped off all week at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office.
For tickets to either game this weekend or any upcoming contest, call 815-968-5222, online through IceHogs.com or in person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office and any Ticketmaster outlet.
