Bristol Blues News Release
Last night, June 19, the Bristol Blues were downed by the Nashua Silver Knights.
The Blues have recently been struggling with their bats but a highlight from yesterday's matchup was Zach Scott, sophomore at Colorado Christian, hitting the first homerun out of Muzzy this year and the first home run at Muzzy by a Bristol Blue. This was Scott's first night in the lineup as he went one for four with the homerun being the only run for the Blues.
Losing pitcher Troy Terzi for the Blues went six and two-thirds innings with three earned runs on seven hits and five strikeouts. Silver Knights pitcher Ryan Moloney went seven innings to pick up the win and closer Brandon Walsh went one inning to pick up the save.
The Blues return to action tonight, June 20, to take on the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs at 6:35pm.
