Bluefish to Host Gathering of the Vibes Night

(Bridgeport, Conn. - July 11, 2014) - The Bridgeport Bluefish organization is happy to announce the Kick Off to the Gathering of the Vibes Night at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, which will take place on Friday, July 18th when the Bridgeport Bluefish host the Somerset Patriots.

The Kick Off to the Gathering of the Vibes Night will feature a pregame concert featuring Jen Durkin & The Business, which will take place at 6:05 p.m. on the concourse by the Gear Shop down the third base line. Durkin will also be singing the National Anthem prior to the game and Ken Hays, Owner of The Gathering of the Vibes will throw out the first pitch. There will also be many great promotions to happen during the night, including raffling off a pair of Weekend Camping Passes to the Vibes.

This will be the 19th year of the Gathering of the Vibes, which is an annual music, arts and camping festival. Currently this is the tenth year that the Vibes Festival will be held at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. The Vibes will run from July 31st through August 3rd and will feature artists and bands such as John Fogerty, Widespread Panic, Dispatch, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Disco Biscuits with Mickey Hart & Bill Kreutzmann and many more.
