
BlueClaws to Host Special Kids Expo May 11th

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Laser tag and Yosi, of "Yosi and the Superdads," are coming to FirstEnergy Park on May 11th for the team's first ever Kids Expo at the 6:35 game that night.
The expo will feature free laser tag for kids of all ages, courtesy of Combat Sports, an outdoor laser tag park in Manalapan. Laser tag will begin at 4:30, with the gates opening at 5:30.
Further, Yosi, of "Yosi and the Superdads," an award- winning children's music group, will give a pre-game performance on the field. "Yosi and the Superdads," based at the Jersey Shore, won a Children's Music Web Award for their album "What's Eatin' Yosi?" and six other awards for "Under a Big Bright Yellow Umbrella."
"Between free laser tag and great music, our Kids Expo is going to be even bigger than we thought," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "We've put together what should be a great night at the park for kids of all ages."
On top of the laser tag and music, there will be an appearance from a surprise children's character, plus concourse tables from various business geared towards children, such as day care centers and costume rental shops.
Further, as is the case at every BlueClaws game, all children, 12 and under, will eat for free, courtesy of NJ 101.5 and ShopRite.
The Lakewood BlueClaws welcomed 425,166 fans to FirstEnergy Park during the 2008 season which upped their eight-season total to 3,595,378. They have led the South Atlantic League in average or overall attendance in each of their eight seasons.
