BlueClaws, Georgian Court to Host Softball Camp at FirstEnergy Park

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws and Georgian Court University are teaming up to host a Youth Softball Camp at FirstEnergy Park from July 11th through 14th.

Young softball players, ages 12-17, can learn on the FirstEnergy Park field directly from Georgian Court University softball players for four days (9 am - 12:30 pm each day) and receive a ticket to a BlueClaws game on July 25th. They also receive lunch each day of the camp.

Georgian Court University, based in Lakewood, has made four straight trips to the NCAA Tournament.

The camp will cover all aspects of the game, with an emphasis on pitching, fielding, hitting and sportsmanship. Campers will be broken into groups by age and participate in a variety of drills to best represent game situations.

Registration is just $125 per camper and space is strictly limited to 75 campers.

The BlueClaws return home on Monday, April 25th for a nine-game homestand which starts with a five-game series against Charleston (Yankees) and concludes with four games against Savannah (Mets).
