Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release
LAKEWOOD, N.J. - One night next week, the BlueClaws will be raffling off free tickets to seventeen different area music shows to take place across New Jersey this summer. It's all a part of the BlueClaws' summer concert ticket extravaganza at FirstEnergy Park at the May 28th BlueClaws game.
From Jimmy Buffett to Toby Keith to the New Kids on the Block and so much in between, fans will have the opportunity to win hard-to-find tickets to a wide variety of summer musical performances.
"This isn't the first time we've done this, but this is certainly our biggest and best Concert Ticket Extravaganza," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "Our fans are given the freedom to choose between such a great variety of shows; there's definitely something for everybody."
That night, the first 1,000 fans will each receive four tickets which can be distributed in raffles for the area shows in any manner they choose. For example, fans can put all four tickets in one raffle or one ticket in four different ones.
Shows include: Jimmy Buffett, Toby Keith, New Kids on the Block, Rascal Flatts, Def Leppard, Crosby Stills & Nash, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, the Bob Dylan Show (Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson at FirstEnergy Park), and much more.
Shows are located at various sites, including PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, the Stone Pony in Asbury Park and the State Theater in New Brunswick.

The Lakewood BlueClaws welcomed 425,166 fans to FirstEnergy Park during the 2008 season which upped their eight-season total to 3,595,378. They have led the South Atlantic League in average or overall attendance in each of their eight seasons.
Children, ages 12 and under, eat for free at every BlueClaws 2009 home game, thanks to NJ 101.5 and ShopRite.
