Scelfo singled up the middle that drove in Klang for the Hot Rods fifth run.

The Hot Rods took a 6-3 lead in the fifth frame when Jefferies cracked a solo blast over the right-center field wall for his fourth home run season.

Bowling Green reliever Josh Satow collected his third save of the season after he allowed the one run in the ninth but shut the door on the RiverDogs and ensured the 6-5 Hot Rods victory.
