
Blue Rocks Playoff Ticket Information

Wilmington, DE - The Blue Rocks have clinched a berth in the 2009 Carolina League playoffs and will play the Lynchburg Hillcats (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the best-of-five Northern Division Championship Series with a 2-2-1 format. The winner will take on the Southern Division champs in the best-of-five Mills Cup Championship Series with a 2-3 format.
Game One and Game Two of the N.D.C.S. will be played in Lynchburg on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Thursday, Sept. 10. The Blue Rocks will host Game Three on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7:05 p.m. and an if-necessary Game Four on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6:05 p.m. If the divisional series goes to a fifth and deciding game, it will be played in Lynchburg on Sunday, Sept 13.
If the Blue Rocks win the N.D.C.S. and advance to the league finals, the Blue Rocks would host Game One and Game Two of the best-of-five series. Game One would be played on Monday, Sept. 14 at 6:35 p.m. and Game Two would be played on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 6:35 p.m. Following an off day, the Southern Division champion would then host Game Three and, if necessary, Game Four and Game Five on Thursday, Sept. 17, Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 respectively.
Playoff tickets are currently on sale for Game Three and Game Four of the N.D.C.S. Mills Cup Championship Series games would not go on sale until if/when the Blue Rocks qualify. All fans that purchase tickets for Game Four of the N.D.C.S. will be refunded their money should that game not be played. Details on how to receive the refund will be made public at that time.
The Blue Rocks will have an open-seating policy for all 2009 playoff games. Seating will be based on a first-come, first-served basis and fans may sit wherever they like in the ballpark. Playoff tickets may be purchased for $9. The Blue Rocks are offering $7 tickets for all children 12 & under and all senior citizens over 55. Any season ticket holder who wishes to have their exact seat location may request so at the time of their purchase and the Blue Rocks will gladly reserve those seats.
