
Blue Rocks and Nationals Rained out for Second Straight Night

WOODBRIDGE, VA - For the second consecutive night, the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Potomac Nationals were rained out on Wednesday. Wilmington and Potomac will now play a doubleheader on Thursday, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 5 p.m., and game two taking place following the conclusion of the first contest. The Rocks and Nationals will play another doubleheader later in the month of May on a date yet to be determined.
In game one, Luis Rico will get the start for Wilmington. Rico is coming off a two-inning relief outing on April 30 against Myrtle Beach. Rico gave up two runs, one earned, and earned the win. He is 1-0 with a 2.93 ERA. Rico's piggybacking partner Yender Caramo takes the ball for the Blue Rocks in game two. Caramo is 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in five appearances, two of them starts.
