Blue Coats Fall to Raptors 905

ORLANDO - The Delaware Blue Coats (7-2), the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, fell to the Raptors 905 (6-3), 138-107, on Wednesday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida.

76ers two-way contract player Rayjon Tucker scored a season-high 26 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3FG, 3-6 FT) with six rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes. 76ers two-way contract player Paul Reed tallied 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-3 3FG), nine rebounds (five offensive), a game-high three steals and a rookie career-high four blocks.

Off the Delaware bench, Jordan Bone scored 15 points and dished out a game-high nine assists with zero turnovers. Rookie Braxton Key scored 10 points in eight minutes on 4-5 shooting from the field and 2-3 from beyond the arc.

Each team had 30 assists in the contest. The Blue Coats swiped 11 steals and have now recorded at least 10 steals in six of their nine games. Raptors 905 outrebounded the Blue Coats 54-35 and shot .542 from the floor, .417 from three-point range and .909 from the free-throw line in the game. They led 70-50 at halftime and had seven players finish with double figures scoring in the victory.

Individually for the Raptors 905, Alize Johnson posted his second game of the season with at least 20 rebounds, totaling 22 points (8-15 FG, 3-3 FT), 20 rebounds and seven assists in 34 minutes of play. Matt Mooney came off the bench to record 22 points (7-10 FG, 5-6 3FG, 2-3 FT) of his own, including a game-high five three-pointers, and a team-high eight assists in 28 minutes. Tres Tinkle put up a rookie career-high 20 points (6-8 FG, 2-4 3FG, 4-4 FT) with seven rebounds as a reserve.
