
Blue Coats Down Raptors
December 2, 2022 - NBA G League (G League) - Delaware Blue Coats News Release
WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats had three players score 20 or more points as the team defeated the Raptors 905 127-117 on Thursday night at Chase Fieldhouse.
Mac McClung recorded his first triple-double of the season, tallying 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in 36 minutes of play. Skylar Mays added 26 points on 8-16 shooting.
Julian Champagnie scored a team-high 27 points, including 16 in an explosive first quarter. Champagnie also added 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
Derek Culver dropped 18 for the Coats and pulled down seven rebounds. Charlie Brown, Jr. scored 15 and Roddy Peters poured in nine off the bench.
Reggie Perry and Ron Harper Jr. were the high scorers for the Raptors. Both tallied 24 points. The Raptors had all five starters score double digits. The back-and-forth contest saw 19 lead changes and 11 ties.
The win improves the Blue Coats' record to 5-5 and drops the Raptors down to 4-5 in Showcase Cup play. The Blue Coats will go on the road for their next matchup against the Long Island Nets on Monday December 5. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
