WILMINGTON, DE - The Texas Legends (6-21) dropped the first of a two-game trip to the Delaware Blue Coats (20-8) 116-148.
Texas took an early 3-2 lead before the Blue Coats responded with a 15-4 run and finished up 33-21 at the first buzzer. The Legends opened the second with a nine-point streak, but Delaware dropped 12 unanswered to rebuild a double-digit lead they would carry through the game.
Justin Jackson powered Texas with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists while AJ Lawson came off the bench for 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kalob Ledoux finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Norense Odiase had a season-high 16 rebounds and 2 blocks.
Mac McClung finished with 27 points, 8 assists for the Blue Coats while Louis King hit 7-of-8 outside to total 27 points with 4 assists. Justin Smith added 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks off the bench and Jared Brownridge and Charlie Brown Jr. tagged on 14 points each.
