
Blue Bombers Wrap up Busy Week in the Community

The Blue Bombers continue to be a big presence in the community throughout the offseason and wrap up a busy week this Sunday that saw them visit a number of different events across the province.
Last Sunday, Chris Cvetkovic, Buck Pierce, Chris Greaves, Chris Kowalczuk and Obby Khan, on behalf of Cvet's Pets, visited Sophies Dognasium at 1469 St James St from 12noon to 2pm for the Manitoba Underdogs Adoption Day and signed autographs for all the fans in attendance.
Joe Lobendahn and Marcellus Bowman also participated i n the Power of Movement event on Sunday which was Canada's largest yoga fundraiser for arthritis research.
Buck Pierce was busy this week, first heading out to Starbuck, Manitoba for one final "I Love to Read" event at Starbuck School. Then, he and Glenn January hit the road on Friday for a visit to Brandon for a Brandon Wheat Kings WHL hockey game where they will be signing autographs in between periods.
Finally, this Sunday, Chris Greaves and Chris Kowalczuk will be in Selkirk from 1pm to 3pm for their Sports Expo at Ecole Selkirk Junior High.
